This photo is a portrait of the author from a photograph taken at the Chosin Reservoir in December, 1950 and was painted by WW II Navy veteran and retired Springfield Journal Register staff artist, O.A. (Rocky) Schoenrock.

Gunnery Sergeant Greenwood receives an award as the Drill Instructor for the 9th Honor Platoon. The award is presented by General M. H. Silverthorn in 1952.

Staff Sergeant Greenwood served as a Police Sergeant at Ascom City in 1954.
